Civil Litigation Attorney (Recreation & Entertainment)

Prominent mid-size law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation or Insurance Defense Attorney to join their thriving NYC office. Ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and prior experience taking and defending depositions. You will work on a wide array of interesting and sophisticated matters and gain relevant hands-on experience. This is a unique opportunity to work along side a top rainmaker! Option to work 1 day a week onsite at their NYC office, 4 days remote.

Responsibilities:
Handle cases from inception to conclusion
Take and defend depositions
Court appearances
Draft motions, pleadings and respond to discovery

Qualifications:
Strong research and writing skills
2-7 years of litigation experience, ideally civil or insurance defense
Must be licensed to practice and in good standing in New York
